The next step or you can consider it as the first primary step as well of installing the sink. After determining the position, Make a measurement of the sink and cut the hole with the jigsaw with a view to fit the sink in.
Make sure that there is enough clearance underneath the counter top. At the time of cutting the hole, with the sink upside down, trace around the edge.
Most of the stainless steel sink has a U channel or integrated rail. In case of having a U channel you need to draw a cut line ¼” inside the sink outline and in case of integrated rail the measurement is 3/8”.
Then get the four holes drilled connect by using the jigsaw and cut the hole according to the taken measurement.
Step – 3: Attaching the sink
You will get installation clips and threaded screws along with the sink if it is an U channel sink. As the first part of attaching the sink, use some claulk on the edge of the hole that you’ve cut and drop the sink on that place.
Use pressure to all the sides of the sink. The attach the installation clips & screws by slighting them under the counter top into each mounting ring.
Properly redistribute the clips around the sink and make sure that the screws are well tightened. Tighten all the screws until the sink is drawn down to the counter top, but do not get it too tight.
