But continuously using the same sponge comes with the possibility of getting germs. But washrag is something that you can use and just throw away after using. So, in case of using washrag, it is considered as a better option in comparison with sponges from hygiene perspective.
Vinegar: one of the best element to keep your sink clean
Vinegar is considered to be one of the best ingredients that used for cleaning things at home. For stainless steel sinks this one also a high performance element when it comes to cleaning and make it shining.
Baking soda: Keep it on hand when getting rid of stains matters the most
Baking soda is something that can be found in almost every kitchen as it is one of the required ingredients in many of the dishes. But for getting a clean stainless sink, baking soda can have also some effect role.
Specially combination of baking soda and liquid dish soap has been proven as an effective mixture for cleanings stainless steel sinks.
Orange or lemon peel: You want the good smell as well

Steps for cleaning your stainless steel sink

Step – 1: Utilize the baking soda
As the first step of cleaning, pour all over the sink and give it a quick wash & rinse. Remove all the utensils taken place over the sink and make it vacant.
Clean if there any food bits remaining over there. Then take some baking soda and spread it all over the sink. Then take a sponge and scrub it gently but a circular way. The baking soda will clean the sink without letting the surface getting scratched.
Step – 2: Use the vinegar to disinfect the sink
Use the vinegar to rinse the sink. The best thing about using vinegar is that it disinfects the sink along with getting rid of water stains from the surface of your sink.
After gently rubbing the sink with the sponge, rinse it with water.
Step – 3: Get rid of the odor by using the lemon/orange peel
Take an orange or lemon peel, rub the whole sink with it. It needs to be done for getting rid of bad odor from the sink, which also ultimately gets your basin shining.
Step – 4: Give the finishing touch with paper towel and olive oil
Take some olive oil and a paper towel for giving the final touch. Take a little olive oil and use it over the sink, wipe the whole sink with the olive oil using the paper towel.
The sink is going to keep shining for at least couple of weeks.
